BRENTWOOD, TN — The National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP) is pleased to announce Eddie Thompson, Ed.D. has been elected to serve as a member of the national board of directors. Six members were elected to the board to serve three-year terms beginning January 2021. The members were elected at the Assembly of Delegates held June 16, 2020 virtually.
Eddie founded Thompson & Associates. As CEO, he provides leadership and direction to more than 45 seasoned charitable estate planners with Thompson & Associates. He has planned thousands of estates, which has generated billions of dollars to charity during his forty plus years working with nonprofits. He is a member of the local chapter, the Planned Giving Council of Middle Tennessee.

Thompson joins 18 individuals from throughout the country who serve on the national board that represents more than 100 councils and 8,000 professionals in the field of charitable gift planning.
