Brian’s experience in the financial and estate planning field started in 1992.
He brings significant experience in planned giving and charitable estate planning, helping advisors, supporters and nonprofit organizations develop charitable estate plans. In the process of his tenure at Renaissance, Inc, he was involved in the creation of over 500 charitable trusts for individuals and over $500 million in trust assets directed to nonprofits. While at Norton Healthcare, he established their first Planned Giving Society and helped to grow and manage the largest planned giving office in the state of Kentucky.
Brian also has significant experience in personal financial planning. With Stock Yards Bank & Trust, Brian developed and grew their Financial Planning Department from scratch and expanded services from Louisville to Cincinnati and Indianapolis. He also helped the bank start an Insurance Agency to fill a much-needed void of independent expertise in life, disability and long-term care insurance for these markets and their clients.
Previously, Brian enjoyed being a member of his church’s stewardship committee and the president of the Financial Planning Association of Kentucky.
