LYNN WATSON, J.D., FCEP
VICE PRESIDENT

Lynn brings a unique perspective to his role as he first encountered Thompson & Associates as a nonprofit client. During his tenure as president of Middle Tennessee Christian School, he witnessed firsthand how Thompson & Associates worked with organizations and their supporters. He appreciated how Thompson & Associates recognized and responded to the challenges and budgets of nonprofit organizations, and he saw how estate gifts can impact both supporters and the organization. His “insider” experience continues to inspire his passion for helping nonprofits build endowments that will provide long-term stability and support.

Lynn’s training as an attorney also informs his role at Thompson & Associates, as he has drafted wills and trusts and assisted clients with the administration of estates. This experience shapes his perspective as he talks with individuals about their needs, learns their goals for their family, and shares ways that they can make charitable gifts that in some cases were never thought possible.

Recognizing the importance of giving, sharing and encouraging, Lynn also serves on the boards of two nonprofit organizations.

Lynn and his wife, Vicki, a retired physical therapist, have two sons and a daughter, two daughters in law, and two grandsons who bring great joy to their lives.
