Virgil Scott has devoted the majority of his career to the field of philanthropy through nonprofit organizations since 1994. He especially enjoys helping individuals and nonprofits connect to have a transformational impact on their communities.

Virgil is an active volunteer, having served on twelve nonprofit Boards throughout his career, holding leadership positions such as President, Chair, and Vice Chair.

A resident of Broomfield, Colorado, Virgil is a native Kansan. He and his wife, Diane, have one daughter and enjoy living in the Rocky Mountain region.
