Frank Stepp, FCEP

Frank Stepp is Senior Vice President with Thompson & Associates. He began with Thompson & Associates in 2005 and has over 25 years experience in finance and working with nonprofit organizations. He began his finance career with an investment banking firm in Fort Worth, Texas in 1985 and was quickly promoted to the position of branch manager in the Tulsa, Oklahoma branch office. This firm was one of the nation’s largest companies providing financing services exclusively for nonprofit organizations.

While living in a small Ft. Worth suburb (Benbrook) Frank was instrumental in the founding of the local Chamber of Commerce and getting approval for the first city library. After moving to Amarillo, Texas, Frank petitioned the American Diabetes Association to form a chapter in Amarillo. Frank served as the first president of that ADA chapter. Over the years he has been very involved in the annual fund raising activities of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Frank's experience provides a knowledgeable platform for annual giving consulting, capital campaigns, and estate planning services for donors. He has played a key role in the Thompson & Associates website development and integrating new processes and technology into the training process.

Frank graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a B.A. in education.  He is a Fellow in Charitable Estate Planning (FCEP) from the Institute of Charitable Estate Planning. He holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) Professional designation and has held the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.  Frank is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP).

Frank is an experienced speaker and frequently gives estate planning presentations. He routinely leads Financial Priorities seminars (a precursor to estate planning for churches). Frank also previously served on the board of Mission Alive, a local Dallas nonprofit organization.  Additionally, Frank is a certified Life Coach through CoachNet®, an internationally recognized organization that trains individuals in leadership development and decision making.

Frank and his wife Nancy live in Flower Mound, Texas. They have two married children and five grandkids.
