Vickie M. Wilson, M.S.M., Ph.D., FCEP

As a member of the philanthropic and financial services communities for more than 30 years, Vickie has provided fundraising leadership to two large community foundations and a major cultural institution.  She has worked closely with individuals to create a variety of charitable gifts that reflect their interests and passions. Her financial services background has been particularly valuable as she has actively teamed up with members of the professional advisor community to meet the charitable needs of their clients.

Vickie holds a BA in Economics, an MS in Management, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration.  Her doctoral research focused on the retirement savings behavior of baby boomers, giving her a unique perspective on the financial concerns and values of individuals.  She also served on a variety of professional boards, including as board president of the Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council and as a board member of the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable. In 2017, she received the Roundtable’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Vickie is personally committed to supporting and mentoring young nonprofit professionals, recognizing their vital contributions to the philanthropic community. Originally from the southside of Chicago, Vickie has enjoyed being a part of the Denver area for more than 30 years and is a graduate of the Denver Community Leadership Forum. 

Vickie has two adult children and a wonderful young grandson.
